We thank you for taking time off your busy schedule ,to address this audience .

DR Steve Harris was the guest speaker at our annual Hog Day Conference held in the Western Cape on 31st October ,2025.

We were 80 pig producers and 80 sponsors present . Because our industry had been through a few difficult and challenging years ,and because we felt we needed to close the three-day conference with a speaker who would inspire and motivate the delegates – we chose Dr Steve Harris .

Feedback: your approach to mental toughness, sparked interesting conversations among teammates that I think will morph and be refined over time to suit our situation. Participants felt challenged to assess their habits and behaviours to improve their health, business strategy, perceptions, etc. We’ll be returning, again and again, to the concepts that you outlined to stay focused on the activities that matter while trying to shed those that bring little value to our business.
